The CHIWI Catering Company began with a CHIlean boy and a KiWI girl who met in Melbourne many years ago. The CHIlean boy, a chef by trade, introduced the KiWI girl to his passion for food and they’ve been fortunate to share many a meal and amazing hospitality experiences together. After some time, the KiWI girl began to long for her homeland and with love and support they decided to return to the land of the long white cloud.
To keep their passion alive they decided to create the CHIWI Catering Company with hopes of travelling New Zealand to share their love for food with others.
The CHIWI Catering Company offers a mobile catering service from their CHIWI Trailer, specialising in Spanish and Latin American Cuisine.
Think big pan dishes like Paella, and delicious tapas such as empanadas and churros.
